Many countries, including Kenya, require exporters to subject their goods to Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) and to obtain a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) before the goods can enter the country. A CoC ensure that the products for export meet government standards that have been put in place to protect the country’s people and its environment.

What are the requirements for shipping to Kenya?

Most goods exported to Kenya, with a few exceptions, require a Certificate of Conformity. This means that exporters to Kenya must subject their goods to PVoC. Kenya’s PVOC program ensures that products that enter Kenya comply with the applicable Kenyan Technical Regulations and Mandatory Standards or approved specifications.
